There is this awesome lady that I have never met but admire to death. Darcy over at My Life with 3 Boy Barians is so great. At least I hope she is. Otherwise my dreams will be crushed:) Totally kidding! She is great.

Sweet Shot Tuesday started over at her place and I love looking at the pics every week. I have never entered my pic, but am this week. Aren’t you proud!

I did not really take many shots this week due to the 5 week old puppy that has taken over my life like a newborn baby would {pooping/peeing/AND sleepless nights}. So here is one of the few from the dusty camera. Not the greatest but it is all I got for ya!

I got a happy in the mail the other day and I am SO excited to share it with you. It is the new automatic toilet bowl cleaner from Scrubbing Bubbles!

The Nation has a new family member! Is he not the cutest thing you have ever seen?! He is a chocolate lab and he is 5 weeks old.

We surprised the kids Monday evening by going to pick him up. In typical Humphries fashion, Clay went nuts, Hannah did not know what to do, and Juliane bawled her eyes out.

He is soft, playful, not psycho like our last dog, cuddly, and will grow up to be fierce to any boys who think they are going to date my daughters! If he decides to take out a girl or two who look Clay’s way as well, so be it.

I feel like I am back in postpartum when the babies cried all night. This little booger whimpers the whole night until we pat his head and then off to sleep he goes.

Perfect right?

Not.

We have a problem.

We have no name picked out.

Honestly cannot find the right one. We have gone from Tyson to Toby to Snickers.

So we need you to help us find a name.

Just remember. This is a lab! Meaning he may very well be a beast. I just cannot name a 75 lb lab Snicker!

So we have this son named Clay. I know. You barely see him on here anymore. I can explain that.

He just is not as funny as he used to be:)

Well, he is still funny but he is not as cute.

Since he looks like me, I take that back as well.

I cannot explain it. He just has not found his way on the screen as of late.

So here is his day.

Now if you know nothing else about Clay, know this. He lives for sports. He is a sports fan, player, and knows what shows come on ESPN and when.

So it is football season! We are excited to watch him play and his first game was on Saturday.

We arrived right on time. The game started early. The second play JUST happened.

So what do we walk up to? No Clay on the field.

Where is he?

We totally missed it! The coach told us he got hit and his knee did not quite turn with his body and oops. Swollen sprained knee.

So what was our view of him the rest of the game?

Did I mention it is summer in Texas? How much fun is it to watch your kid on the sideline while you are sweating 10lbs off in 100 degree weather?

But dang if he is not still the cutest kid on that field! {I say that because he looks like me:)}

So the next game maybe I will have pictures of him sweaty, dirty, with grass stains to clean. What good is it if the Oxy stays on the shelf!

Edit: I dodged and burned the eyes to try to brighten them up. I also dodged her face a bit to lighten the shadow. I worked the curves and cropped the image just a bit.

Well it is here again. The first week of school. I would post some pics of them in their new little Justice outfits but if you’ve seen one FDOS picture, you have seen them all!

So I will just show you what I saw about 5 minutes after “aww. But we aren’t tired…” on the first day of school. I would show you what Clay looked like, but he just was not as cute as the girls:)

A group from our church worked this weekend at Habitat for Humanity ReStore project here in Waco. They worked on a house for a family of five and did a great job!. Siding went up, paint was brushed on, cabinets were placed, and trim was all around. Young, older, male, and female came out and got dirty, sweaty, and got some sun for a good cause.

I am so proud of our church and the people who participated. Habitat for Humanity is an amazing organization that is bringing life back to these families in need. Cannot wait for the next house we get to work on.

I cropped it to get rid of some of the grass. I dodged and burned the eyes slightly as well as the skirt. I went back and forth with the curves to get a look I was satisfied with.

I just love this little girl. Her hair is to die for:)

I am addicted to many things. None of which are illegal. So that’s good. Many of them are dependent on the most expensive cable package. Which is why we will never have a low cable bill:) When I design at night I just click on my DVR list and I am good to go.

Miranda at Keeper of the Cheerios has a new look! She asked JuLa Studio for a new theme and new look. We worked with the Studiopress theme Lifestyle, and we used the Thoughtful color combination from Colourlovers.

She did not need a ground up site, just a new “clean” look. A must was to have a new logo and header. She also wanted to be sure to have the awesome plugin that is Featured Content along with some other details!

Miranda is a cool gal and her site needed to reflect that. She works hard at creating a go to site for us mothers out there and I was honored to work with her! Go check out Keeper of the Cheerios!
