So, I don’t know why, but we have been wanting to do all these projects around the house. Well, for some reason they are all being done in a 72 hour period.
My question is why? Is there no life to live? Is it Spring fever? Am I nesting? No!
We have just decided to completely over flow our plate. I think I am getting an ulcer!
We have tiled our back splash. Put up new blinds in the kitchen. There is a new shower head up in the bathroom…it’s one of those rain ones where it falls from the heaven’s!!! New shower door will be installed as well. Kitchen is going to be painted. As well as cabinets.
And then there is the new kitchen faucet…the one that was supposed to be so easy. “Mariah. You wanna install the faucet? It’s not going to be hard. You just turn off the water, unscrew the old…and then you…..with the new one….don’t forget to…the toolbox…..washer…bolts….” and all of a sudden all I could hear coming from Amos’ mouth was Charlie Brown’s teacher speaking in Blah Blah Blah.
So I tried to do as he said. Strike one.
So I yanked my DIY book out and read the manual from the new faucet like 20 times, but I still do not understand German or Dutch, so no good. I would have to send off for English directions. Not that english would help me understand Plumber!
But come to find out, I’m not a complete idiot! Apparently the last person who did the kitchen faucet was high on some sort of ammonia combination, because it was jacked up!!! But thank you Jesus, Amos came in on his white plumber steed -minus the butt crack – and rescued me from despair! He unscrewed the screwed up stuff so I could finish the faucet connection. Of course the package came with no bolts!!!! So back to Home Depot, but now we’re are too tired to finish, so I’ll finish tomorrow.
I hope.
Later Gators.

How exciting. I have some spring sprucing to do up in here too! We have one of those shower heads and it is LOVELY! I am impressed with your DIY skills I would have seriously laughed at even the suggestion of putting that on. Good for you!

Amazing!! I would not even try. I can do some stuff, but I know my limitations. I love the feeling of giving a room a facelift. It is wonderful!! BTW love your new look. You got the 3 columns to work. I love all your space!!
