The Nation in 2010

Faces of Christmas. In French.

Christmas was so wonderful this year! The kids got spoiled. Not with the number of gifts, but it was just what they wanted.

Point for the parents!

We had a great visit with my sister in law and, as usual, watching the kids open their gifts and seeing those faces was priceless.

I would like to take this moment to thank Starbucks for being open on Christmas morning! It may be the wisest choice you made this year!

I have so much to share with you but will just show a few pics today.

Clayboy is our gamer…

Jude is our reader…I am so thrilled to see her get excited about the same books I did at her age.

Then there is Lala…

Well, what is Hannah? We are not completely sure yet, but we are still trying to figure her out.

I can tell you this much, she has no clue about foreign languages.  This was our little conversation when I snapped this shot…

“Ooh, Hannah. What is it?”

“Hmmm. Miss Cookoo is Lookoo?”

“You mean Ms Coco is Loco?”

“Ms Coco is Loco? Ooooh… It’s in French!…”

See what I mean?

So was there a moment you remember from your Christmas this year? Did your kids get along? Did they give cheesy smiles on every photo taken? No? Just my kids I guess…

Jude

Juliane was my worst labor experience, hands down. Add the labor with it being winter in Detroit Michigan during the beginning of a snow storm and you have a night you will never forget.

I could retell the details but if you have been in labor, you know what it is like . If you have not been in labor, I do not want to scare you off from experiencing the joy yourself:)

But then, just like the first labor I went through, when you see that face…

I will never forget that moment.

She was going to be my girl and if the labor was any indication, she was gonna be a feisty one.

Her face was perfect.

She had this full head of hair.

Her eyes would just stare at you and she soaked you in and in return I soaked her in too.

Girls

Nine years later she is still my girl.

She is still beautiful.

Happy Birthday Jude

First Day of School

Well it is here again. The first week of school. I would post some pics of them in their new little Justice outfits but if you’ve seen one FDOS picture, you have seen them all!

So I will just show you what I saw about 5 minutes after “aww. But we aren’t tired…” on the first day of school. I would show you what Clay looked like, but he just was not as cute as the girls:)
